Oftentimes when trying to lose weight or improve health, we only focus on the food we consume and exercise. There are a variety of other factors at play that determine the success of our weight-loss journeys. These include career, work-life balance, relationships, sleep, and many more. These factors influence our food choices as well as our relationship with food and ourselves. Working together, we will cultivate a healthier relationship with food, body, and life.
It can be extremely confusing and overwhelming to navigate the world of nutrition on your own. There are countless diets out there that offer conflicting information, what’s worse is not knowing which diet to follow or what foods are best for you, your lifestyle, and your goals.
My mission is to help you understand your body and which foods work best for you. Together, we will find the foods that nourish your body and allow for optimum digestion, gut health, and well-being.
What is your current mindset and relationship with your body and your food? I believe mindset to be one of the most important aspects of our health journeys. We try to stick to a diet or fitness plan with sheer will power, then end up falling off, unable to maintain it and we lose momentum toward the weight we want to lose simply because we weren’t in the right headspace to begin with.
But, if you shift what you believe about your health and your value in who you are, you create a new identity and habit of health. By switching from a body shaming, food restricting, self-punishment approach to a body kindness, intuitive eating, self-care approach, you will not only find it easier, more enjoyable, delicious, and fun to create sustainable, new healthy eating and living habits, but you’ll actually enjoy the process, and see results way beyond the number on the scale.
